Home / Acoustic panels / Curved acoustical panel (DUKTA System)
The dukta manufacturing system gives wood flexible properties and acoustic absorption. Carefully designed incisions transform the wood into curved, acoustic, flexible panels with exceptional beauty.
We offer several models available for quick delivery from stock. For special projects, it is possible to apply this manufacturing technique to different types of wood panels. The panels can be finished with various types of varnishes and protective oils.
The curved dukta panels are installed on a framework, typically made of wood. The curved shapes of the framework are transferred to the final finish. To facilitate installation, we offer various solutions and anchor clips.

Curved dukta panels can be installed on walls and ceilings, as well as used as components for manufacturing all kinds of furniture, lamps, or room dividers. The carefully designed machining patterns provide flexibility while maintaining stability along the wood grain. The different machining models vary significantly in appeareance, ranging from
simple and smooth patterns to more ornamental designs. These various models allow for their use in different types of environments.
The different incision types—SONAR, LINAR, FOLI, and JANUS—differ in terms of cut appearance, the proportion of open surfaces, and flexibility.
The collaboration agreement between Decustik and dukta aims at the manufacturing of dukta curvable panels both in the Spanish market and internationally, providing technical support to architects and engineers with solutions based on dukta products.

dukta gmbh is a product development and design office located in Zürich, Switzerland. Based on the internationally patented dukta incision process, we create new applications, interiors and products. Together with our selected and authorized manufacturers in different countries, dukta advises and supports architects, engineers and building owners through technical and design issues.
This versatile and patented mechanization process has its roots in wood bending tests initiated in 2007. Thanks to a CTI research project and several exhibitions and awards, the dukta system has become synonymous with flexible wood products throughout the world. Since 2015, products based on dukta processes are manufactured and marketed under license all over the world by specially qualified partners
