ACUSTICAT 2026: an edition focused on current challenges
The sixth edition of the congress took place on 29 and 30 April 2026 at the Parc de Recerca Biomèdica de Barcelona. The programme covered topics such as the impact of noise on health, acoustics at concerts and large events, railway vibrations, acoustic comfort in buildings, and new measurement and analysis tools.
The event brought together 430 attendees, 68 speakers and 22 presentations, figures that reflect the growing interest in acoustic quality and the importance of collaboration among the different stakeholders in the sector.
A meeting point for progress in the acoustics sector
